Michelle Passoff is the author of the clutter cleaning classic, "LIGHTEN UP! Free Yoruself From Clutter" (HarperPerennial) and a professional clutter consultant and international speaker. She is most widely known because her unique approach to cleaning clutter and getting organized not only leads her clients to being neater and tidier, but provides them with a pathway to greater fulfillment and accomplishment in life.

After graduating from Syracuse University's S.I. Newhouse School of Communications, Passoff was a media specialist in the public relations business before starting her clutter consulting firm in 1991. Passoff has since traversed the U.S., U.K. and Australia working with private clutter cleaning clients and leading classes and workshops.

Passoff moved to Tampa, Florida in 2005 with her husband, Andre Kupfermunz, who is a sculptor and business partner. When they are not crawling around in attics and garages cleaning clutter, Passoff and Kupfermunz buy and renovate houses and pursue other entrepreneurial ventures.
