TINA RUGGIERO, M.S., R.D, L.D.

A respected registered dietitian and communications professional dedicated to excellence, Tina Ruggiero has been a health coach and trusted nutrition advisor to corporations and individuals for nearly 17 years. Passionate about sharing her knowledge, Tina (fondly called The Gourmet Nutritionist) has been heard on radio, seen on TV, and her writing has appeared in magazines such as Family, Good Housekeeping, Elegant Bride, Men's Health, The NY Daily News and First for Women.

Currently, Tina is President and founder of Nutrition Dialog which offers expert spokesperson capabilities, media relations, writing and recipe development services to the corporate sector and provides private clients with solutions for weight loss, disease management and other nutrition concerns. Tina is also the Nutrition correspondent for WFLA where she appears on the syndicated show Daytime which reaches 160 markets and 80,000 viewers. She also makes regular appearances on FOX TV to discussing health and nutrition issues of the day. Her highly-anticipated new book, The Best Homemade Baby Food on the Planet, was just released internationally, and it's among Amazon's top-selling cook books.

Tina began her career at the prestigious University Hospitals of Cleveland. She has been widely published in both the trade and consumer press, has given numerous interviews about the subjects of food and health and has a passion for teaching. She served as an adjunct instructor at the University of Chicago and taught nutrition to passengers aboard Holland America's MS Ryndham. In addition, Ruggiero is an active member of the American Dietetic Association, the American Marketing Association and the IACP.

A native New Yorker, Ruggiero received her B.S. with honors from N.Y.U. and her M.S. and R.D. from Case Western Reserve University. She currently resides in Florida where she maintains her black belt in Tae Kwon Do to stay in shape (and work off everything she enjoys cooking and eating). Recently, she completed her first "century cycle," a 100-mile ride on her bike, and she's contemplating a double century next year.
